Our invitation and stationery process is easy and, dare I say, fun.
For printed invitations, I would give the entire process 1-2 months prior to the day you want to post your announcements. Electronic options may only take 2-3 weeks.
There are just 5 steps to getting your paper stationery in your hands.
STEP 1: Pick your design and how many you will need to order.
STEP 2: Choose how you want to deliver your invitations to your guests - electronically or in the mail, or both. For example, you could send a quick e-save-the-date by email and, when you’re ready, mailed paper invitations.
STEP 3: Email your event details to me.
If you’re ordering save-the-dates:
• how do you want it worded. At the least, you’ll need to supply your name(s), event date and location(s).
• envelope colour choice, if you’re mailing paper save-the-dates.
For invitations, there are a few more details to think about, such as:
• invitation wording.
• wedding reception and ceremony schedule.
• map region and the locations to be highlighted.
• rsvp due date, rsvp options and information your guests need to supply (ie: meal options, number of guests).
• hotel reservation booking details.
• for destination weddings, flight information or package deals.
• any extra event details, if there are events happening pre or post nuptials.
• gift registry link or details.
• envelope colour choice, if you’re mailing paper invitations.
STEP 4: Review the proof by email.
This means, I’ll send you an email with a low resolution, watermarked, digital copy of the layout for you to look over. Check the spelling and details, preferably by more than one person. STEP 4 is repeated until it is signed off and ready to print.
STEP 5: Receive your stationery and start addressing the envelopes. Packages will be sent directly to you from the printer to cut back on time. Depending on your location, it can take a few weeks. But, this also means you’ll have to take pictures for me so I can see the beautiful prints too.
