‘Pieced Together’ was one of my larger experiments where I started with a few brush strokes and kept building it up off of those original shapes. I wanted to push myself outside of my comfort zone so I created shapes that were unusual. I also wanted to keep a lot of white space to help narrate the story. It’s messy and, over time, I slowly pieced it together.
The heavy watercolour paper is approx. 22.5” h x 15” w, with all sort of markings and dots and slightly wavy paper that happens during an experimental painting such as these.
Paintings are unframed. Shipping is extra and would require a tube for shipping.
