Drawing Prompt - Get Loose Birch Tree
During a walk along the Annex Park path, I snapped a photo of this tree and immediately knew I was going to paint it…or something based on it. The goal:
Try not to think too much about it. Look at the photo first and then put the paint on the paper and see where it leads. You can follow the photo reference closely or use the general idea and run with it.
The materials:
The biggest tip I can offer you is to use a thick brush at the beginning and then move to a smaller brush for the branches. It will create the contrast you need.
