Illustrative Journalling
Thanks to a short online course on Domestika by Kate Sutton, I was inspired to do my own illustrative life journalling, as drawing and writing are two passions of mine. The idea is simple, and you’ve probably already done it before, to combine visuals with written words. I love how Kate encouraged playful text that danced with your images on the page and so I’ve adopted my own style, using mixed-media, and adding short lines or just a few words that relate to the imagery. I don’t do it every day but when there’s something special I want to remember, or when I’m travelling, I think this is a great way to document those moments. Don’t forget to put a date on the page!
