Well, this is exciting. I was asked-and even encouraged-to use Fernie Fix as a platform for my own personal agenda: to make everyone start a daily creative practice! Mwaahhahaha! You’re all going to be drawing birds in adorable sweaters in no time.
If you don’t know me, I’m Brina Schenk, an artist who has lived and worked in Fernie, BC, for almost 18 years. Some people remember me from my Small Town Social blog and some people remember my work as an illustrator and graphic designer in town. I’m also known for dumpster art, mobiles with Michelle Galway, art class instruction, or a friendly face at h squared gallery, and then there’s the small group of people who know me from the pickleball courts.
