How To Use Watercolours - An Abstract Landscape

A colourful mixed media abstract landscape painting process by Brina Schenk, illustrator and artist living in Fernie, BC, Canada

Due to the popularity of my abstract landscape paintings on social media, I thought I would create a video of how I do it.

The goal:

Don’t have a plan. Just start painting with colours you love and see where you end up.

The materials:

I used watercolour paints, watercolour pencils, and neocolor ii wax pastels but you can use whatever you have on hand. I would also do a few of these at the same time and see where each of them end up using the same colours and tools.
